Hartmut Ebbing, 1956, ist seit Juni 2024 Schatzmeister der Deutsch-Israelischen Gesellschaft e.V. (DIG).

Von 2017 bis 2021 war er Mitglied des Deutschen Bundestages. In dieser Zeit gehörte er den Kuratorien der Stiftung für die ermordeten Juden Europas und der Stiftung Neue Synagoge Berlin – Centrum Judaicum an.

Beruflich ist er selbstständiger Steuerberater und Wirtschaftsprüfer. Er hat an der TU Berlin und University of Illinois, USA  BWL und Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik studiert.

1981 war er Volunteer im Kibbutz Hazorea.

Hartmut Ebbing (b. 1956) has been Treasurer of the German-Israeli Society (DIG) e.V. since June 2024.

From 2017 to 2021, he was a member of the german Parliament. During this time, he served on the advisory boards of the Foundation for the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and the Foundation of the New Synagogue Berlin – Centrum Judaicum.

He is a Certified Public Accountant and Tax Adviser. He studied Business Administration as well as Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at TU Berlin and the University of Illinois, USA.

In 1981, he completed an internship as a volunteer at Kibbutz Hazorea.
